In Magento, Enabling the path Hint:

In magento, it’s hard to identify the files during the theme integration or any developing work . So “Template Path Hints” is one of the great features in magento. By enabling this feature, we can easily find out the files.

Here are the steps to enabling the “Template Path Hints” with screen shots.

Step: 1

First login into your Admin Side, Go to System – > Configuration

Step: 2

Set the current configuration scope as Main website, Please see the below screen-shot

Step: 3

In Sidebar, Select the “Developer” from ADVANCED Tab, Please see the below screen-shot

Step: 4

In Debug Block, Select yes for “Template Path Hints” options. And save by click the save config button in right top.

Step: 5

Finally Go to your frontend and refresh your page, you will see somewhat similar to below screen shot.
